Steele County has initiated a study to perform the preliminary design and environmental documentation for the easterly extension of CSAH 34, North Beltline, and the East Beltline between CSAH 34 and US-14. This project will prepare an Environmental Assessment / Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EA/EAW) and to identify a preferred alternative layout and obtain environmental approval for the preferred alternative layout from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Mn/DOT.
